Romeo Miller spent Father’s Day at the 29th Annual American Black Film Festival (ABFF) in Miami with his daughters, River and Winter.

On Sunday, the proud dad took to Instagram to share a series of photos from the screening of his new film, The Reject.

In one photo, Miller is seen holding both of his daughters in his arms as they celebrated the day together.

He captioned the post, “I have a pretty cool job but nothing compares to the responsibility of being Dada to my girls. What a time we had at the the 29th Annual American Black Film Festival in Miami and thank you to every actor, producer, editor, and supporter who poured their heart into my new film “The Reject”.”

He also shared more candid moments with his family, including a recent photo featuring his father, Master P, standing alongside him and his daughters.

“This is the beginning of a new era. And to the present fathers whom work their ass off and show up for their families, if you haven’t heard it; you are appreciated. Love ya pops! This was truly a magical and grounding Father’s Day Weekend. All my favorite things in one place. God is good. Proverbs 20:7. #ForTyTy #FathersDay #Peace.”

The Reject, produced by Romeoland Studios and FFH, stars Kamal Ani-Bello and Romeo Miller, and is directed by Blademil D. Grullon.

Based on a true story, the film follows Kionne McGhee, a young man misdiagnosed as “mentally handicapped” who rises above systemic injustice to become an attorney and politician.

In an interview with WPLG Local 10, Miller opened up about the importance of the project.

“So I’m producing and starring in this, and I’ve been doing this for 25-plus years. And I tell people all the time, you want to be able to continually grow. And I knew in this chapter of my life, being a father now, I wanted to invest in and create projects that my kids could appreciate. That could inspire not only them, but the world. And this man’s story is all of our stories in some shape or form, because it’s a story of never giving up.”

He also teased a new podcast, saying, “It’s called Sorry, I’m a Dad so that’ll be coming soon.”
