Rudimental are set to release a bunch of ‘lost tapes’ of collaborations which feature major BRIT Award winners – Raye and Ed Sheeran.

The drum and bass group have had plenty of chart-toppers over the last decade, and have now revealed they have unreleased music with other artists in a hidden vault.

The three-man band, featuring Piers Aggett, Kesi Dryden and Leon ‘Locksmith’ Rolle, are on about releasing a new song – The Lost Tapes – featuring big names.

Piers told The Sun: ‘There’s a Raye track there that could have easily made this album.

‘I would actually like to revisit that. There’s so many tracks there.

‘There’s Ed Sheeran tracks from eight years ago that are still in the vault.’

This new release would be album number six for the trio.

It comes after Raye was forced to halt her performance at All Points East Festival, which took place at Victoria Park, London on Saturday.

The singer, 27, was speaking to the crowd during her set when a fan collapsed.

After being alerted to trouble in the audience, Raye announced: ‘We’ve got some pointing and waving over there is everything alright. Security please can we get some people over there.

‘Security is coming. Can we clear a path please. Can we get a thumbs up when help has been received.

‘Someone has passed out I think, are they ok? I hope this person is alight. Thumbs up, okay they are being sorted out.’

As fans confirmed everything was ok with a thumbs up, the crowd began to cheer.

Earlier this year, Raye revealed she cried in the studio whilst making new music.

Raye said on TikTok this week: ‘I was overthinking everything and I definitely cried. So I’ve been offline because the bar is definitely high.

‘I just want to trust my gut, hope I make the right decisions and, more than anything, just believe in it if no one else does because I do.

‘I have have have to think like that, that’s why I’m offline.’

Raye, whose real name is Rachel Keen, made one of pop’s greatest comeback stories of all time after splitting from her label Polydor Records in 2021.

Polydor refused to release 21st Century Blues, five years after she signed a four-album deal with the company and, not knowing what else to do, released a video message to social media tearfully explaining her frustration.

Explaining that dozens of potential hits were ‘sat in folders collecting dust’ while others were being given away to bigger stars, Raye said: ‘I am still awaiting confirmation that I am good enough.’

‘I’ve done everything Polydor asked me, I switched genres, I worked seven days a week. They either listen to me now of we part ways and they can save themselves this headache.

‘Because I am about to make it a headache.’

Behind closed doors, Polydor told Raye to stop giving interviews.

Eventually, she was freed from her contract and she released Escapism which became the second most played song in the UK in 2023.

The singer followed it up with her long-awaited album, My 21st Century Blues.
