Ruth Langsford is reportedly aiming to move on from her separation with former husband Eamonn Holmes through the release of a new empowering book.

The 65-year-old, who previously co-hosted This Morning, parted ways with Holmes, now 66, in June 2024. Interestingly, the announcement of her candid memoir coincided with news that he has acquired a luxurious property alongside his partner, 44-year-old Katie Alexander.

After spending 27 years together, including 14 years of marriage, Ruth is reportedly ready to close that chapter both emotionally and officially, using her book as a means to do so.

Her forthcoming memoir, titled Ruth Langsford Feeling Fabulous, is set to explore the highs, lows, and valuable lessons that have defined her journey.

An insider revealed, “The timing is quite deliberate. Ruth’s decision to unveil her book shortly after Eamonn’s new home was publicized is no coincidence.”

‘But Ruth isn’t about being bitter – she’s about empowering herself and is feeling really good at the minute.’

They added to The Mirror: ‘She wants to draw a line under everything with Eamonn, officially and emotionally. The book is her way of doing that.’

Daily Mail has contacted Ruth’s representative for comment.

The former couple and co-stars have largely avoided speaking about each other following their split.

But now, Ruth plans to speak about her ‘experiences’ in her new memoir, which releases February 26.

She wrote on Instagram on Friday: ‘NOT LONG NOW… Can’t believe that 2026 is the year I publish my first book! I’m very excited but also a little nervous…

‘These are stories about my life, the ups and the downs, the good and the not so good but everything that has made me the woman I am today.

‘I share the experiences that have shaped me and the lessons I’ve learned along the way. Publication day is 26th February but you can pre order a copy now (and a limited number of signed copies are available too).

‘Click the link in my bio or check out my stories to get your copy. Hope you enjoy reading it as much as I’ve enjoyed writing it x’

Loose Women star Ruth has remained single and recently revealed she has been seeing a therapist since their marriage breakdown.

Eamonn quickly moved on to date relationship counsellor Katie, who is 22 years his junior after his seperation from Ruth was revealed, with the pair purchasing a house in Holywood, Northern Ireland last week.

According to a new report from The Sun, Eamonn has splashed the cash so they can enjoy cosy weekends away together.

‘Eamonn loves going back to Northern Ireland visiting family and he’s been after a new place there for a while’, a source said.

‘It will be the perfect place to build a home with Katie, with no memories of anyone else. They can use it for weekend retreats.

‘This development is perfect as houses can be custom-built for wheelchair users.’

Daily Mail has contacted Eamonn’s representatives for comment.
