Ryan Gosling has not outgrown his love for Disney as an adult.
John Stamos, 59, was a recent guest on the podcast Baby, This Is Keke Palmer, and dished that he and that Gosling have bonded over being Disneyland fans.
The former Full House star said he was a bit embarrassed by being a ‘Disney adult’ until a conversation he had with the Notebook actor, 42, made him feel better.
While chatting with the 29-year-old Nope actress, he revealed: ‘Six or seven years ago, I was like, “Man, I gotta shed this Disney thing, [because] who’s gonna take me seriously with the Mickey Mouse stuff? I’ve gotta distance myself from it.”‘
His feelings changed after Ryan told him at a dinner party that he’s ‘obsessed’ with the theme park and sometimes goes by himself.

According to Stamos, Ryan asked, ‘You’re a Disney fan, aren’t you?’
He recalled answering ‘Yeah,’ before Ryan admitted, ‘I’m obsessed. I’m a Disney adult. I go there by myself. I wear headphones. I go on rides. I have a mixtape.’
Stamos added, ‘I go, “Yeah, me too. I’m a Disney guy too.” So that kind of turned the corner for me.’
John explained the positive impact Disneyland has had on his life as he said, ‘When you go through those gates, the rest of the world goes away.
‘I think it really defined who I am as an artist, as a human because it was just so full of optimism.’
Gosling’s Disney roots stretch back to his adolescence when he was a personality on the Mickey Mouse Club Disney Channel TV show from 1993-1995.
At the time, he was joined by future stars Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, and Christina Aguilera.
Gosling has recently tapped back into his youthful side as he stars in the upcoming Greta Gerwig-directed Barbie movie.

Ryan’s longtime love Eva Mendes, 49, recently supported her beau by rocking a T-shirt that featured a photo of him in character as Ken.

The Hitch actress sat cross-legged on the ground in front of a distressed white wood fence in the image, which she shared on social media.
Eva and Ryan have been together for over a decade and share daughters Esmeralda, eight, and Amada, seven.
Despite their long relationship, the two stars rarely walk the red carpet together.
Back in April Eva reflected on their time shooting 2012’s The Place Beyond the Pines as she shared stills from the film.
She captioned it: ‘Magic is Real. We did not meet on set. The magic started way before but here’s a little magic captured on camera. Gracias to the incredible director Derek Cianfrance.’
The film followed Luke, a motorcycle stunt rider who turns to robbing banks to provide for his girlfriend Romina and their newborn child.
One fan commented on the post: ‘I really hope Barbie will get through the Awards Season just to see you w Ryan.’
Eva replied: ‘we don’t do those things together,’ and added that the only photos she is ‘comfortable’ sharing with the world are images that are ‘already out there.’

In a 2021 interview with GQ, the Gray Man actor offered a glimpse into his family life and what it was like during the COVID-19 lockdowns.
‘Our kids are young, so it was a tough time for them to be separated from other kids and not being able to see family and whatnot,’ he noted.
‘So, we did our best to entertain them. I think Eva and I did more acting in quarantine than we have in our whole careers,’ he joked, adding that they did really dramatic interpretations of bedtime stories.
Ryan and Eva have never confirmed that they are married but she has a tattoo on her wrist that says ‘de Gosling’ and referred to him as her husband during an interview on Today Australia.
