Scott Hoying continues to dance alongside Rylee Arnold, even after their journey on season 34 of Dancing With the Stars concluded.

The pair, Hoying, 34, and Arnold, 20, reunited onstage during a Pentatonix concert on Saturday, November 8. They delighted fans by performing a segment of their TikTok Night routine set to Jennie’s “Like Jennie.” Their jazz number had previously garnered a score of 22 out of 30 from judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough, and Bruno Tonioli.

Following their energetic performance, Hoying and Arnold exchanged a heartfelt hug on stage, a moment captured by fans and shared widely online.

“This was such an incredible experience! Absolutely thrilled to be back with @scotthoying,” Arnold expressed on her Instagram Story that Saturday, accompanying a clip of Hoying introducing her to the audience.

While Rylee Arnold and Scott Hoying may not have taken home the Dancing With the Stars trophy, they gained something far more enduring—a strong friendship. “I couldn’t have wished for a better partner this season!! Scott, you were outstanding in every aspect,” Arnold, 20, shared on Instagram on Wednesday, October 22. “Your patience, dedication, […]”

Hoying and Arnold exited DWTS season 34 in October, after earning a 28 out of 40 for their contemporary routine to “The Wizard and I.” The musician admitted he got “really flustered” mid-performance.

“I just like, blacked out and didn’t kill it,” Hoying explained during a joint appearance with Arnold on the “Official Dancing With the Stars Podcast” hosted by season 33 winner Joey Graziadei. “And I feel bad. I feel bad for Rylee because she worked so hard, but I’m proud of what we did.”

Hoying noted that he had a “weird freak accident” that led him to forget some of the choreography.

“I’d done it a million times, drilled it and then I just blanked,” he said. “I missed a move and then I could not recover. So I was kind of moving my body and watching Rylee and trying to get back on.”

Scott Hoying Addresses DWTS and Pentatonix Tour

Scott Hoying is still booked and busy despite leaving the Dancing With the Stars ballroom. Hoying, 34, opened up about what’s next for him after he was eliminated from the competition with pro partner Rylee Arnold during the Wicked Night episode on Tuesday, October 21. “Pentatonix is going on tour in two weeks,” he told […]

After the elimination, Hoying explained that he would be busy with the Pentatonix tour. “Pentatonix is going on tour in two weeks,” he told Extra. “I was going to do both at the same time, which I had been stressing about and losing sleep over.”

In Hoying’s perspective, the “silver lining” of his elimination is that he can focus all of his energy on the tour. “But I won’t be with Rylee,” he added.

Arnold, for her part, gushed over their bond while reflecting on their exit in October.

“I truly couldn’t have asked for a better partner this season!! Scott, you were so amazing in every way,” Arnold wrote at the time. “Your patience, work ethic, laughter and kindness carried me through every single rehearsal and you helped me grow in so so many ways. I’m so proud of everything you did!”

She continued, “You worked so hard and you put your entire heart into the competition and I couldn’t be more grateful! You improved so much week by week and it was so surreal to be by your side experiencing it with you. It was absolutely amazing working with a person like you, you have insane creativity, talent and just everything about this season with you was perfect.”

Arnold shared that she would “forever cherish the memories” the pair made during the season, noting that she and Hoying “will make so many more together.”

“I couldn’t have done it without you, and gaining a new best friend in this process was just the best part of it all!” she concluded. “Scott is seriously one of the most genuine, kind and caring people I know and I’m so grateful that he is in my life now. Thank you for this amazing season, Scott, it was everything and more!”

Dancing With the Stars airs on ABC and Disney+ Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET.
