The ‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ alum returns to help with an investigation in the upcoming episode.

A familiar face is stopping by NCIS. LL Cool J – who played Sam Hanna on the canceled spinoffs NCIS: Los Angeles and NCIS: Hawai’i – will appear in the Monday, April 21 episode of the CBS procedural.

In “After the Storm,” a trio of combat vets are found murdered in a D.C. motel room. NCIS tracks down a suspect, but they refuses to talk to anyone but Sam Hanna.

In a sneak peek at the upcoming episode, Hanna is on hand as Dr. Jimmy Palmer (Brian Dietzen) performs an autopsy.

“We still on for Sunday?” Jimmy asks.

“Have I missed one yet,” Sam replies as a confused Parker (Gary Cole) looks on.

“You knew he was in town?” Parker says.

“Oh yeah,” Jimmy replies. “Sam, Victoria, and I have a standing weekend karaoke date,” adding, “I rap, old school.”

Will Sam and Jimmy give Parker – who claims to be a bit of a “crooner” himself – an invite to their karaoke night? Tune in to the next episode of NCIS, airing Monday at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CBS. Episodes stream live on Paramount+ with Showtime and on-demand the next day on Paramount+ Essential.
