Samantha Harris has embraced motherhood for the first time.

The 34-year-old Australian model shared the joyous news on Instagram this Thursday, revealing that she and her husband, Luke Hunt, welcomed a baby girl earlier in the week.

In a heartwarming post, Samantha included a photo of her newborn daughter peacefully dozing in a car seat.

The little one looked utterly adorable, dressed in a peach onesie adorned with floral and lace details.

Captioning the adorable photo, Samantha revealed that she had given birth on Tuesday this week, while also announcing her daughter’s name.

“Our Beautiful Angel arrived on 11/4/25 at 9:58 pm,” Samantha announced. “Bella Angélique Hunt. Mum and Dad are completely smitten with you.”

The joyous post was met with an outpouring of congratulations from friends and followers, including Australian Idol star Casey Donovan. 

‘Congratulations!!!! My goodness how precious,’ Casey wrote, augmenting the sentiment with three purple love heart emojis.

Another follower offered: ‘Awe look at her. So adorable in the car seat ready to go home. Love it. Congratulations to you both, let the fun times roll.’

A third, summing up the sentiment of many, jumped in with: ‘Awwww Sam & Luke, Bella is gorgeous. Congratulations mummy and daddy. Can’t wait to meet her.’     

Sam announced in May that she and Luke were expecting, sharing a picture of her ultrasound.

‘Life Lately,’ she captioned the post, while tagging her husband of eleven years.

The post, which had garnered more than 2,600 likes, did not reveal the gender nor when the baby was due.

Fans and friends flooded the comments section of the post with support for the Aussie supermodel.

Fitness guru and podcast host Steph Claire Smith simply wrote, ‘Congratulations,’ as did model Jess King.

Model and actress Megan Gale penned, ‘Congratulations Sammy.’

Samantha’s husband also left a comment in response to her caption, writing: ‘And the rest of our lives to come’.

That model made headlines in 2014 when she famously stuck by her beau’s side after he was sentenced to four years in prison.

Luke served two years behind bars for the death of a grandfather following a fatal car crash in 2012.

Sam secretly married Luke in 2014, two months before he began serving his prison sentence for his involvement in the crash that caused the death of 78-year-old grandfather Kenneth Lay.

News that the couple had married wasn’t revealed until April 2016, after her husband had finished serving his prison term.
