Sandra Mason, who appeared on The Golden Bachelor season 1, and Charles King, who appeared on the first season of The Golden Bachelorette, may not have won their seasons, but they sure look lucky in love right now. The duo have made it official on social media, and fans are thrilled to see them together. They are also happy to dish out the details of their romance.

Sandra Mason and Charles King don’t mind the world knowing a romance is blooming between them. The Bachelor Nation alumni took to Instagram to reveal they had been seeing each other, shocking their followers. While the duo gushed about each other in a recent interview, the relationship might hit a snag sooner than you’d think.

According to Bachelor Nation, Charles King, 62, will be moving abroad soon for work. The portfolio manager will be living in South Africa for a few years. That leaves him and Mason, who at 76 is retired, in a complicated situation. The pair didn’t suggest they would attempt a long-distance relationship, but they sure do seem to like each other. King said they’ll see how things go. We can only hope that Mason will head to South Africa for a visit with her potential soulmate.

Charles King was eliminated during week 3 of The Golden Bachelorette season 1. Joan Vassos didn’t elaborate on why she failed to give him a rose. Sandra Mason was sent packing by Gerry Turner in week 5 of The Golden Bachelor. Interestingly enough, Sandra and Joan Vassos developed a friendship during their time on the dating show.

The rest of the cast is dating, too

Sandra Mason and Charles King might be the first official couple to pair up following their seasons, but there has been some romantic interest among other contestants. In October, Jordan Heller, who competed in season 1 of The Golden Bachelorette, and Leslie Fhima, the runner-up in Gerry Turner’s season, spent some time together. Fans quickly assumed they were dating, but Fhima shut down the rumors quickly. Still, she insisted she wasn’t against the idea of dating Heller in the future.

Neither Jordan Heller nor Leslie Fhima have addressed the situation since. Still, fans are hopeful that they may eventually pair up. Several other The Golden Bachelorette contestants are actively in relationships, although not with members of Bachelor Nation. Fan favorite Mark Anderson appears to have found love with actor Barbara Alyn Woods. Jonathan Rone also found love. He is dating a woman named Michelle Zimmerman.
