According to DECIDER, the current season of Live with Kelly and Mark is set to wrap up on August 28. Fans of the show can expect a brief hiatus, with the team taking their customary summer break beginning this month. Entertainment Weekly elaborates that this well-deserved pause kicks off next week.
In her latest role, Sarah Chalke reprises her character, Elliot Reid, in the Scrubs revival on Hulu. The revival unveils a surprising narrative twist—Elliot and J.D. Dorian, played by Zach Braff, are now divorced. Chalke advised viewers in an interview with DECIDER earlier this year to embrace the new storyline despite its potentially divisive direction.
“I promise you, it was the right way to do this,” she said, reflecting on the series’ dramatic turn. “When I read it, I was so pumped because I feel like there’s not a lot of comedy and drama in fine, like everything’s just fine.”
Fortunately, fans of Bill Lawrence‘s medical comedy will see Chalke, Braff, Donald Faison, and the rest of the Sacred Heart gang in a sophomore season.
