Last night, The White Lotus Season 3 premiered on HBO, reuniting us with Natasha Rothwell‘s Belinda and introducing us to the likes of the Ratliff clan, TV star Jaclyn Lemmon (Michelle Monaghan), and a beguilingly pretty local staffer named Mook (Lalisa Manobal). Towards the end of The White Lotus Season 3 Episode 1 “Same Spirits, New Forms,” Aimee Lou Wood‘s Chelsea makes a new friend played by French Canadian actress and director Charlotte Le Bon. While we only learn a little bit about the charming Chloe in The White Lotus Season 3 premiere, we quickly discover she has quite the interesting connection to the hit HBO show’s existing lore…

**Spoilers for The White Lotus Season 3 Episode 1 “Same Spirits, New Forms,” now streaming on MAX**

The big twist about Charlotte Le Bon’s character on The White Lotus Season 3 is that her much older boyfriend is actually Greg (Jon Gries), the same man who seduced, married, and plotted the murder of Jennifer Coolidge‘s Tanya McQuoid.

According to Le Bon’s character, she’s been living with Greg in a massive house close to the White Lotus Thailand resort for a year. Chloe also explains to Chelsea that she and “grumpy” Greg often fight and he sends her away. She mocks him for his age and baldness, going so far as to joke the locals call him and his ilk LBHs, or “Losers Back Home.”

While it’s still unclear how much Chloe knows about Greg’s history with Tanya, it’s already obvious that the beautiful model and the optimistic Chelsea have forged an immediate bond, which The White Lotus star Aimee Lou Wood described to DECIDER as falling in “friendship love.”

“Well, I think they are very moon and sun energy,” Wood said. “They’re the same, but in many ways they are parallel versions of each other.”

“They’re in such similar situations, but Chloe’s chosen strategy and thought, and Chelsea is just all feeling. They’re the same, but they’re just so different. They’re like two halves of the same person.”

That’s what’s blossoming between Chloe and Chelsea, but who is Charlotte Le Bon? Where have you seen Le Bon before? Is she related in any way to Duran Duran’s Simon Le Bon? What do her White Lotus cast mates make of her and where can you follow her online?

Here’s everything you need to know about Charlotte Le Bon, the actress behind Greg’s new girlfriend on The White Lotus Season 3…

The White Lotus Season 3 Cast: Meet Charlotte Le Bon (Who is NOT Related to Simon Le Bon)

Charlotte Le Bon is a 38-year-old actress and film director who hails from Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Her father is Richard Le Bon and her mother is actress Brigette Paquette. At the age of 16, Le Bon began modeling, winding up eventually settling in Paris. After eight years of working as model, Le Bon was cast as “Miss Météo” on French show Le Grand Journal. She delivered the weather report in comedy sketches she wrote for herself.

In 2012, Le Bon made her film debut in an Asterix and Obelix movie and went on to appear in a string of other French productions. She made her English-language debut in 2014’s The Hundred Foot Journey before starring opposite Joseph Gordon Levitt in The Walk and Christian Bale and Oscar Isaac in The Promise.

“Charlotte is just the coolest. Like, she’s so cool. So I didn’t really need to act,” Aimee Lou Wood gushed. “Like, when she walked over at the bar and Chelsea is like, ‘Oh my God, I want to be your friend.’ That is how I feel about Charlotte.”

Le Bon made her directorial debut in 2018 with the short film Judith Hotel. Her feature length debut, Falcon Lake, premiered at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival. The film earned Le Bon the award of Emerging Canadian Director at the Vancouver Film Festival and is apparently a fave amongst her White Lotus costars.

“She directed a great movie called Falcon Lake,” The White Lotus‘s Sam Nivola said, “We all watched it and loved it and I spent most of my time trying to pick her brain about that.”

You can follow Charlotte Le Bon on Instagram @lebonlebon, which echoes the name of her official website, lebonlebon.com.

Oh, and Charlotte Le Bon is NOT related to Duran Duran lead singer Simon Le Bon.
