The famed couple is currently enjoying their reception, but they took a moment to head to Instagram to share the big news shortly after they wed. The couple looks deliriously happy, Gomez’s dress was stunning, and they are busy racking up likes on Instagram as the festivities stretch into the evening. In fact, Gomez’s post, featuring a series of staged, professional photos, amassed millions of likes and thousands of comments in mere minutes.

Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco appear to be embracing the fact that their wedding details were leaked. While the duo tried to keep their wedding date and venue secret, it was no use. During their press tour for their album I Said I Love You First, the duo insisted that they hadn’t even started planning the big day. They claimed they were still enjoying the engagement and would eventually get around to planning a ceremony and reception. Critics slammed Gomez on social media for seeming so aloof about the prospect of walking down the aisle.
Clearly, the pair were simply trying to throw off the media. They were in full planning mode at that point. Weeks before the event, the date was leaked. They refused to confirm or deny the accuracy of the information. Photos from Gomez’s bachelorette party in late August further solidified theories that the wedding ceremony was planned for late September, regardless of what they said. Blanco enjoyed a bachelor party in Las Vegas that same weekend.
In the days leading up to the big event, the ceremony location became public, with helicopters and paparazzi swarming the Montecito neighborhood where celebrities were spotted. As the ceremony time approached, X (formerly Twitter) users reported helicopters and drones in the area. They may have left with nothing; tents prevented any photos, it seems.

Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco decided to give their fans exactly what they wanted: photos of their special day. Shortly after 4pm PST, Gomez posted a series of photos and videos from a wedding photoshoot on Instagram. In the pictures, the duo appears to be very much in love, clinging to each other and sharing kisses ahead of their wedding reception. In the photos, Gomez wears a gorgeous, halter-style gown, with her hair styled in an old Hollywood glam look. Her makeup similarly screams old Hollywood. Blanco is wearing a classic tuxedo with a bow tie in the photos; the duo appears shoeless. According to TMZ, they both opted to wear Ralph Lauren on their wedding day. Â The ceremony began at 3 pm, but there are no details on what stars were involved in the wedding party.

The upload was captioned simply with their wedding date and two white hearts. That was all fans really needed, though. Within minutes, millions of likes flooded the post, and thousands of Instagram users took to the platform to congratulate the couple. Even the Only Murders in the Building Instagram page offered the couple its very best. As they celebrate into the night, more and more fans are sending them love on social media. The update has over 4 million likes just two hours after going live.
There is no word on where the couple plans to honeymoon, or if they’ll be vacationing directly after their big day.
