Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco haven’t discussed too many of their wedding plans publicly yet. However, sources are already leaking info to the public. An insider told DailyMail.com that the couple is “fuming” that their September 2025 plans were leaked.

“If it wasn’t just two months away, they’d think about changing the celebrations,” an insider alleged. “But that’s an impossible task, and they don’t want to delay the wedding and find a new location. Instead, they’re doubling up on security to make the event as private as possible.”

“Doubling down” on security isn’t just for the star-studded couple. Their A-list guests, including Taylor Swift, also need protection. The source noted that Gomez is considering implementing a phone ban.

“She is going back and forth on whether or not to allow people to have their phones as an extra measure of security and privacy, along with the fact that she wants everyone to be present,” the source added.

Previously, another source told the publication about the celebrities who received invitations.

“Although it’s for friends and family only, many on the friends list are huge celebrities, including Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, Selena’s costars from Only Murders in the Building, and music superstars who are Benny’s friends and some he’s also worked with,” the insider alleged.

One A-lister might not receive an invite

Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift go way back, and there’s no doubt that Swift will receive an invitation to the star-studded wedding. However, Blake Lively might not get the opportunity to attend. A source told British gossip columnist Rob Shuter that Gomez removed Lively from the guest list for her 33rd birthday after Swift was nearly subpoenaed for Lively’s lawsuit against Justin Baldoni. Given this, it seems unlikely that Lively will attend Gomez’s wedding.

“Selena wanted love, light, and platform boots — not subpoenas and side-eyes,” an insider noted regarding the birthday bash.

Previously, a source told RadarOnline that Gomez “rushed” to Swift’s side after Swift’s fallout with Lively.

“Selena rushed to arrange a girls’ night out for the two of them,” the source alleged. “She wanted to show her solidarity, but no doubt she was staking her claim. … All of Taylor’s friends have been reaching out to make plans, it’s just a matter of whether she accepts or not.”

“Whenever that day comes, I do know I don’t want a big cake,” she shared, according to a TikTok. “I think I’d want a mini one for just us that we can freeze. My preferred dessert would be biscuits and gravy.”

More specifically, Gomez wants her Nana’s biscuits and gravy. “That sounds like dessert to me,” she clarified.
