Adam Fogelson, the chair of Lionsgate Motion Picture Group, announced at CinemaCon on April 1, 2025, that Now You See Me 4 is in the works, per Deadline. Ruben Fleischer is once again directing.

“Ruben has delivered all of the twists and turns and sleight-of-hand that audiences expect from this franchise while upping the stakes and scale in every way,” Fogelson said. “We can’t wait for audiences to discover what he’s done with the third film and thrilled he’ll be making even more magic with us.”

Fleischer told the audience that directing the third installment “was as much fun as making any movie” in his career. “It combines two of my favorite things—heist movies and magic—and working with this incredible cast was truly magical,” he added. “Of course, I want to keep it going.”

The Now You See Me franchise began in 2013, followed by a second installment in 2016. The movies star Jesse Eisenberg and Woody Harrelson, who are both set to return for the fourth film.
