Time flies when you’re raising a star. It seems like only yesterday that Bow Wow introduced his daughter to the world by bringing her on stage. Now, Shai Moss is stunning everyone as she steps into her homecoming spotlight, and the internet can hardly believe how quickly she’s grown up.

This past weekend, Shai, the daughter of Bow Wow and Joie Chavis, captivated her Instagram followers with a series of photos that showcased her breathtaking homecoming ensemble.

In one striking image, the 14-year-old poses elegantly outdoors, wearing a metallic champagne mini dress that features a dramatic, flowing pleated train. Complementing her outfit, she holds a bouquet of white roses, with her look completed by soft, glamorous makeup and sleek, glossy hair.

Fans quickly filled the comments with one person saying, “Ummm who said you could grow up on us??”

Fans and followers poured in their admiration, with one commenter expressing heartfelt sentiments: “Dear Shai, you are very beautiful and I want you to know that, girl. Like for real, girl to girl — you are everything your mother raised you to be: beautiful, elegant, and special.”

Shai, who turned 14 on April 27, celebrated her birthday in grand style earlier this year. She marked the occasion during the final night of the Millennium Tour at The Forum in Inglewood, California, making it a memorable event.

After the concert, she enjoyed a private celebration inside the venue with her mom, Joie Chavis, her grandmother, Teresa Caldwell, and her dad, Bow Wow.

Bow Wow, whose real name is Shad Moss, shared highlights from the evening on Instagram, including a clip of Chris Brown and Ray J singing to his daughter before she blew out her candles.

“Happy B-Day @_shaimoss my daughter 14! On the last night of Millennium Tour she got her uncle @chrisbrownofficial @rayj to sing. What a moment!” he wrote.

When he’s not bragging about her milestones, Bow Wow often cheers on Shai’s budding entertainment career. She made her acting debut on Nickelodeon’s Side Hustle back in 2021 and recently appeared in the 2024 holiday film A Screenshot to Santa.

And if you’ve scrolled through TikTok lately, you’ve probably seen her dancing alongside her mom, Joie.
