The show kicked off a few weeks ago with a two-day launch event, where host Emeka Obi-Uchendu unveiled the contestants to viewers. Female housemates were introduced first on day one, while the male contestants followed on the second day.
Initially, Thelma Lawson became the first female HOH. However, her reign was short-lived after Biggie introduced a surprise challenge that dethroned her, paving the way for Victory to claim the position.
As part of his new privileges, Victory got to pick a fellow housemate to join him in the HOH lounge. He chose Joanna, who will also serve as his deputy. The decision surprised many viewers, as most expected him to choose Gigi Jasmine instead.
Fans expressed excitement over Victory’s win, noting that Thelma’s leadership style felt too strict. Many congratulated him and mentioned that his close bond with Isabella made the moment even more satisfying for them.
It’s worth recalling that Jason was the first-ever HOH of the season. His appointment went viral after he sternly warned fellow housemates to behave or risk earning strikes and possible eviction.
