The duo insisted they were “just friends” for months, but now that they’ve gone public, they are making everything public. Hughes recently revealed that his girlfriend of just a few months has named his testicles, and apparently, she has a preference for rhyming names.

Chris Hughes and JoJo Siwa have very much shed the “platonic” label of their relationship. The pair’s romance became public back in May when they were spotted smooching in Mexico. Now, Hughes is offering up personal details about their life behind closed doors.
In a chat with E! News, Hughes revealed that Siwa had named his testicles. “She calls my balls Jimmy and Timmy, so she must like Jimmy and Timmy,” he told the outlet. The admission came after Hughes was asked what he thought of Siwa’s interest in naming her children “Freddy, Teddy, and Eddy.”

Chris Hughes and JoJo Siwa met on the set of Celebrity Big Brother UK in April 2025. They were instant friends, but things took a turn towards the romantic pretty quickly, it seemed. While they both denied having a romantic relationship, they spent much of their time on the reality TV series hanging on to each other and cuddling. Siwa was in a relationship with Kath Ebbs at the time.
As soon as the series was over, Siwa split from Ebbs, ending their relationship at a wrap party. Ebbs documented their feelings on the situation on Instagram. Still, Siwa and Hughes denied a romantic connection, but not for long. In May 2025, they were spotted together in Mexico, with Hughes confirming that their relationship had progressed beyond a platonic stage. They’ve documented their travels together ever since.
Hughes was single heading into Celebrity Big Brother UK, but his ex-girlfriend did have comments on his change in relationship status. Olivia Atwood, who married a former flame after her split from Hughes, was asked what she thought of the pairing on social media. She replied that she thought Siwa was “really famous,” suggesting Hughes is seeking fame instead of love. Neither Siwa nor Hughes commented on the swipe.
