Controversial social commentator Martins Otse, better known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has shared a surprising account of how singer Naira Marley eventually forgave actress Iyabo Ojo, despite planning to press a defamation case against her.
This revelation comes after VDM recently hinted at the possible DNA result of Liam, the son of the late singer Mohbad.
In a TikTok video, VDM narrated his frustration with Naira Marley’s decision to forgive Iyabo Ojo after she allegedly apologised to him in Yoruba at the Lagos State Commissioner of Police’s office.
According to VDM, the plan was for Naira Marley to hold Iyabo Ojo accountable for linking him to Mohbad’s death.
He stated:
“I told Naira Marley to detain Iyabo Ojo. I told him to lose his cool the moment we entered the Police Commissioner’s office. Tell them her words ruined your image and career. He agreed.”
But what happened next shocked him:
“The moment Iyabo apologised in Yoruba, Naira Marley forgave her. I almost died where I was sitting. I was so upset.”
VDM revealed that Sam Larry, who was also present, was equally stunned and even cried after Naira Marley accepted the apology.
“Samlarry protested it. He couldn’t believe it. I was even signalling Naira Marley not to accept the apology. I knew Iyabo wouldn’t keep her word.”
