Pilar Sanders recently addressed rumors sparked by her children, who claimed their father, Deion Sanders, said she only began cooking after they got married.
In the world of professional football, Shedeur Sanders is making waves as the Cleveland Browns’ newest starting quarterback. As the son of NFL legend Deion Sanders and television personality Pilar Sanders, Shedeur is no stranger to the spotlight.
One of the most talked-about quarterbacks in the NFL today is Shedeur Sanders. The Cleveland Browns signal caller, who recently took over the starting job, is the son of Hall of Famer Deion Sanders and reality TV star Pilar Sanders.
Since Shadeur’s team did not play on Thanksgiving, the athlete was at home celebrating with his family in his Cleveland-area home. Shadeur’s brother, Shilo Sanders, joined Shadeur and their mother to test and grade Pilar’s cooking.
In Shilo’s YouTube video, which has racked up nearly a million views, Pilar made her sons their plates before they sat down for dinner together. And during their conversation, Shilo brought up something Deion, who was married to Pilar from 1999 to 2013, said about her cooking.
During their meal, Shilo told Pilar that their father said she didn’t know how to cook before they got married.
Pilar immediately responded, “The devil is a lie. I was making food before I even knew him.”
The brothers then shared that Deion told them that she took cooking classes.
Pilar wasn’t happy to hear that comment either and let her sons know to stop believing everything that their dad says, insisting, “You guys just let him lie to you all the time.”
As for Shilo’s review of Pilar’s Thanksgiving meal, he gave his mother an A, revealing that her food was “magnificent” and a “10 out of 10.”
