Shemar Moore is addressing his recent split from Jesiree Dizon, whom he calls a “a phenomenal mother,” .

“There’s been a lot of press releases that hit today or yesterday taking about my personal life, my life, my private life with Jesiree Dizon,” Moore began in an Instagram post that was posted on Friday.

“It’s my life. It’s not your business, but I know how Hollywood works. I know how all this media stuff works. It’s gossip, gossip, gossip. And that’s just what it is. And you know, be careful what you wish for. You know what you signed up for type of thing.”

The 54-year-old went ton to say that, “if I wasn’t halfway famous, then nobody would care [about his relationship status]”.

“I’m a funny dude, I’m a goofy dude, I’m a silly dude and I’m a serous dude. But right now, I’m just gonna be an honest dude. Mind ya business. Mind ya business. Give us a break, Give us some privacy,” he stated.

Moore went on to call Dizon “a phenomenal mother and “an amazing woman” and assured fans that the duo will continue to co-parent their two-year-old daughter and that they will be “…the dopest people as parents.”

Dizon echoed his sentiments, writing on Instagram, “Although our reality has changed, what will ALWAYS remain is the love and respect Shemar and i both have for each other,” she wrote. “‘Til God calls our name’”.

She emphasized their commitment to being the “BEST co-parents” to Frankie, whom they welcomed in 2023.

“Shemar,” she said. “Even though our romantic journey has ended, we are still stuck together FOR LIFE so let’s kill this parenting thing…. TOGETHER . You are the most amazing daddy to Frankie….”

She concluded, “Still and will always be your best role yet. I will always love you,” she concluded. “With all of me, Jesiree .”
