Sheryl Crow hit the stage Wednesday night at the American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women Red Dress Collection concert in New York.
Thrown at Jazz At Lincoln Center, the event is billed as spreading the word about America’s most prolific killer of women – heart disease.
As the festivities unfolded Sheryl, 60, lent her formidable musical talents to the glittering lineup of stars parading across the stage.
In keeping with the spirit of the occasion, she was decked out in a country chic crimson leather jacket and a skintight pair of matching trousers.
As her performance wore on however she tore off the wrap to reveal a clinging white top that emphasized her enviably toned physique.

Her latest charity gig comes hours after news broke that Sheryl has been nominated for induction to the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.
Sheryl’s fellow nominees include such top-flight musical acts as Cyndi Lauper, Soundgarden and the late George Michael.
She glowed that evening as she walked the red carpet for the American Heart Association and flashed her winning smile for the shutterbugs.

The Soak Up The Sun songbird opted for a strapless crimson frock that was dripping with layered curtains of thick matching fringe.
Her ensemble was accented with feathers and sequins, shimmering under the lights and amplifying the sense of glitz about her.
Although Go Red For Women is presenting the concert, the event was started by the governmental National Heart, Lung And Blood Institute’s The Heart Truth.
Every year Go Red For Women unveils a cohort of ‘Real Women’ selected from around the United States to be their ambassadors.
This year’s class is comprised of 12 women from various backgrounds who have all survived either strokes or heart disease, per the American Heart Association.
