Southern Hospitality has returned, and the drama is already heating up.
In the Season 4 opener, tensions among the Republic employees are at an all-time high following the reunion upheaval. Maddi Reese is still feeling betrayed by TJ Dinch and Bradley Carter, who led her to believe that her ex, Trevor Stokes, had been unfaithful when he hadn’t. Meanwhile, Emmy Sharrett isn’t on speaking terms with the duo after their Season 3 clash over rumors regarding her fiancé Will Kulp’s loyalty. Adding fuel to the fire, another Republic staff member has been dismissed.
So, who has been let go from Republic, and who remains in the cast? We’ve got all the details for you!
Who got fired from Republic?
The Season 4 premiere of Southern Hospitality reveals that Molly Moore, who became part of the cast in Season 3, has been fired from Republic. The reasons? There are three different narratives. Moore claims she had “personal dirt” on manager Michols Peña, who allegedly used “flimsy reasons” to terminate her. Peña countered, saying Moore was spreading rumors about him but denied having the authority to fire her, suggesting instead that she was simply “terrible at her job.”
Leva Bonaparte, the proprietor of Republic Garden & Lounge, provided clarity during her confessional. She explained that Moore needed to frequently adjust her shifts due to her full-time event planning job, leading to her dismissal. While Bonaparte assured there was “no bad blood,” she acknowledged the staff would inevitably dramatize the situation more than necessary.
Who still works at Republic?
Just about everyone in the current cast works at Republic — with the exception of Mia Alario, who was fired in Season 2, and Molly Moore, who was fired ahead of Season 4. Even Maddi Reese, who had been on a 40-city DJ tour, and her boyfriend Joe Bradley, who had been following her around, still come back to Charleston to work.
Who is still on Southern Hospitality?
The great thing about Southern Hospitality is that there really hasn’t been a high turnover rate within the cast. Over four seasons, the show has only lost three cast members: Mikel Simmons, who appeared in Season 1 and Season 2; Oisin O’Neill, who appeared in Season 2; and Will Kulp, who appeared in the first three seasons.
As for the rest of the Republic crew, fans still get to follow along with Maddi Reese, Joe Bradley, Emmy Sharrett, TJ Dinch, Bradley Carter, Lake Rucker, Molly Moore, Mia Alario, Grace Lilly, and Leva Bonaparte. Season 4 will also feature some new additions, including Justin Assad and Bella Starcher.
