Simon Baker has gotten candid about his strange appearance in a beloved 2000s film and why it’s deterred him from ever watching the flick.

The Aussie star, 55, told Esquire Australia on Wednesday that his very blonde eyebrows in The Devil Wears Prada have put him off of watching the movie at all. 

The actor, who landed the career-changing role in 2006, went on to reveal that his friend’s wife had pointed out his bizarre look in the popular film. 

‘What the f*** is going on with your eyebrows in that movie?’ she asked him. 

When he probed her for more details about his appearance in the movie, she told him: ‘They just had like their own f***ing thing going on.

When asking another friend about his eyebrows in the flick, they told him they were just ‘surfy’, sun-bleached and needed a bit of a ‘trim’.

The comments have left a lasting impression on The Mentalist star, who decided to never watch the film as a result.

‘It’s gotten to the point now where The Devil Wears Prada is such a beloved movie that it’s literally like baiting the hook and throwing it overboard and getting a bite straight away, whenever I say that I’ve never seen it,’ he said. 

It comes after Simon was spotted in Sydney on Monday for the premiere of Amazon Prime miniseries The Narrow Road to the Deep North.

He opted for a timeless monochromatic look in a tailored black blazer and matching pants.

The Boy Swallows Universe star paired it with a crisp white shirt and brown dress shoes, radiating charm as he posed for photos.

He appeared on the red carpet along with Hollywood heavyweight Jacob Elordi, who made headlines after he praised Married At First Sight bride Carina Mirabile’s fashion sense.

Despite being the guest of honour for the event celebrating his new series, the 27-year-old Euphoria star was captivated by Carina’s stunning red gown.

‘Great dress,’ Jacob told the reality star as he walked up the cinema stairs, while Carina sat in her seat and smiled.

The Kissing Booth star accessorised with a thick gold chain necklace and small gold hooped earrings on each ear, showing off his voluminous brown locks for the shoot.
