“The loss of my incredible friend, Liam, has left me utterly heartbroken,” Niall shared in a heartfelt statement on Instagram. “It’s hard to believe it’s true. Liam’s zest for life and his infectious work ethic made him a beacon of light in every room, always ensuring those around him felt joy and comfort.”

The singer, known for his hit “Slow Hands,” reflected on his shared experiences with Liam during their time in One Direction.

“Amidst the sorrow, my mind is flooded with memories of all the laughter we shared, often over the simplest things,” Niall continued. “We were fortunate enough to live out our wildest dreams together, and I will treasure all those moments. The unique bond and friendship we had is something rare in a lifetime.”

Niall, who recently welcomed Liam and his girlfriend, Kate Cassidy, to his concert in Buenos Aires, recounted the poignant experience of seeing his friend for the last time.
