Skai Jackson is giving fans a first look at her baby boy, Kasai.

On Friday, the actress shared new photos of her son on Instagram, where he’s seen smiling and wearing blue striped overalls.

“Kasai 6 months,” she simply captioned.

Jackson welcomed her first baby with ex-boyfriend Deondre Burgin earlier this year.

She announced Kasai’s arrival in a January 26 Instagram post, including a photo of her holding her newborn’s hands. In the caption, she wrote, “Kasai .”

Since Kasai’s birth, Jackson and Burgin have ended their relationship. The former Disney Channel star has since filed for a restraining order against him.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Jackson alleges Burgin has been physically abusive over the past year. The most recent incident reportedly took place on Mother’s Day, while she was holding her son.

Jackson says Burgin grabbed her by the hair, hit her head against a car window, and punched her in the face during the altercation.

She also detailed multiple alleged incidents of abuse throughout 2024, including claims that she was choked, scratched, and slammed into walls. Jackson says Burgin also damaged her phone and television during their disputes.

In the legal filing, Jackson shared additional claims from her pregnancy, including an alleged incident where Burgin told her to drink bleach and another where he allegedly held a knife and threatened to harm her. She says she has video evidence of one physical altercation where she was dragged from a bathroom and choked.

At the time Kasai was born, Burgin was reportedly serving a 90-day sentence for a parole violation. He was arrested again in June on a separate warrant.

Jackson told the court she fears for the safety of herself, her child, and her dog. She requested that Burgin stay at least 100 yards away from all three and also asked for child support, coverage of legal fees, and for Burgin to complete a domestic violence treatment program.
