Skai Jackson is enjoying being a new mom and everything that comes with it, even if her newborn son, Kasai is “giving her a run for [her] money!”

In a recent exclusive interview with People Magazine, the Disney alum told the outlet that being a new mom has already “been so positive.”

During her interview on the red carpet at the 56th NAACP Image Awards Creative Honors celebration, Jackson expressed, “I love being a new mom. It’s just so exciting. So exciting. I’m here tonight, I’m already missing my baby. But it’s been a great month with my new little one.”

Jackson went on to say that she is blessed with “such amazing support” as a first-time parent and that, her son is “definitely giving me a run for my money” and is already teaching her valuable life lessons.

“He’s such a big baby, eats so much… but it’s something that I love. I love seeing my baby every day.”

The Jessie alum added, “I feel like now I can just do anything. I feel like being a mom and juggling everything probably has to be one of the hardest jobs, but it’s such a rewarding job because I’m doing it for him at the end of the day. So I definitely learned that about myself. I can just handle whatever at this point.”

Jackson first announced her pregnancy in November of last year, sharing exclusively with People,, “I’m thrilled to begin this new chapter in my life — embracing motherhood and diving into new acting projects. My heart is so full!”

Shortly after, BCK revealed that she was expecting with her then boyfriend, Deondre Burgin aka “Yerkky Yerkky” on Facebook.
