Skye Wheatley has once again sparked rumours she has split with her long-time partner Lachlan Waugh, after fans noticed his mysterious absence from her social media.

The former reality TV star’s partner has not been featured on her pages in over two months, with her recent posts focusing on raising their children, with no mention of Lachlan.

Eagle-eyed fans have gone online to discuss whether the pair have secretly parted ways.

‘What are you thinking with Skye & Lachie? Lots are saying they’ve split. Haven’t posted each other in ages,’ one person wrote.

‘Are you and Lockie having problems? Your kids seem to be in Sydney a bit,’ a second person asked Skye on Instagram.

‘Are they spending a lot of time apart, lately? Lachy seems to have gone on a few trips and to a few events lately with just him and their son,’ a third chipped in.

‘Skye does her own thing. He was at a gender reveal last week without her.’

In November, Skye, 31, revealed she had briefly separated from Lachlan, her partner of seven years.

The Gold Coast-based mum-of-two explained the reason Lachy has not appeared in her recent Q&A videos is because they had decided to take time apart.

‘Honestly not much to report. We just have a lil re-set break from time, it’s good,’ she told fans.

She has previously spoken at length about the couple’s struggles and admitted they have recently been going to counselling.

Skye said that 2024 is all about achieving goals, a journey that includes addressing the challenges in their relationship.

However, the arrangement didn’t last long and later that month, Lachlan asked Skye to ‘come home’ so they could parent their boys together.

‘So, there’s a bit of confusion around a couple of my last posts when I’m talking about co-parenting with Lachy,’ she said at the time.

‘Basically, we trialled co-parenting. So I would have the kids two nights, then he would have the kids two nights. And then, yeah, two nights on, two nights off.’

Skye said Lachy pleaded with her to ‘come home’ soon into their co-parenting experiment.

‘I don’t think he liked it. We like being together as a family. But I feel like for us, we just needed a break. Just a little break.

‘Obviously I didn’t want to be away from the kids for as long as we were away from each other. So we just co-parented for the period of the break. Hopefully that makes sense.’

The couple have been together for seven years and share two young sons, in addition to jointly overseeing an ambitious and expensive home renovation project.

Skye first hinted at trouble in paradise in February 2023, revealing she and Lachlan were ‘on a break’ and ‘co-parenting’ their two children, Forest, six, and Bear, three.

She told her TikTok followers they had agreed she would look after their sons for two nights, then Lachlan would take them for the next two nights, and so on.

But the arrangement didn’t last and Lachlan asked Skye to ‘come home’ so they could parent their boys together.
