Slow Horses, Apple TV+’s hit spy thriller inspired by Mick Herron’s bestselling book series, ended its Season 5 premiere with a touching tribute card honoring the late John Usher.

When Slow Horses Season 5, Episode 1, “Bad Dates,” wrapped and Mick Jagger’s iconic “Strange Game” started to play, the end credits kicked off with tribute card that read: “In memory of John Usher, a much loved friend and colleague.”

Those familiar with films and TV series like Jane Eyre, Paddington, Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, Wonder Woman, Paddington 2, The Old Guard, and more may have recognized Usher’s name from past credits. But for those unfamiliar with his work, Usher was a talented member of the costume/wardrobe and transportation departments who helped bring dozens of projects to life.
