As Season 51 of Saturday Night Live draws to a close, only three episodes remain. Although fans won’t be treated to a fresh episode tonight, the line-up for the final episodes has been revealed.
The upcoming new episode will feature a debut host, with Olivia Rodrigo taking on the unique challenge of serving as both host and musical guest. Following her, the penultimate episode will see Matt Damon hosting alongside musical guest Noah Kahan. The season finale promises a nostalgic touch with former cast member Will Ferrell returning to studio 8H, joined by musical guest Paul McCartney.
For Damon, this marks his third stint as host, while Ferrell will be stepping into the role for the sixth time in his career.

Is SNL New Tonight (April 18)?
Unfortunately, there is no new episode of Saturday Night Live tonight. Instead, NBC will air a rerun featuring Josh O’Connor and Lily Allen, which originally premiered on December 13, 2025.
When Does SNL Return With New Episodes?
SNL returns on Saturday, May 2, 2026, with the first of the final three episodes of Season 51.
- May 2: Olivia Rodrigo (host and musical guest)
- May 9: Matt Damon with musical guest Noah Kahan
- May 16: Will Ferrell with musical guest Paul McCartney
