Snoop Dogg is looking every bit the proud grandfather.

The music legend recently appeared in a family portrait featuring his father Vernell Varnado, his son Cordell Broadus, and Cordell’s three children. 

In the picture, Snoop, 53, is dressed in a bright blue tracksuit and sneakers while seated with two of his granddaughters by his side and a small dog resting on his lap. Cordell stands close by holding his youngest child, as Snoop’s dad beams in the background.

Cordell, 28, is one of four children Snoop shares with his wife, Shante Broadus, along with son Corde, 31, and daughter Cori, 26. He is also father to son Julian, 27, from a previous relationship

In total, he has seven grandchildren: Corde’s children Zion, Elleven, Kai and Sky; Cordell’s daughters Cordoba, Chateau and Symphony; and Cori’s daughter Codi.”

However, Snoop has suggested that the number may actually be higher. During a Thanksgiving 2024 appearance on Let’s Go! with Tom Brady, Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Gray, the rapper revealed, “I got a lot of grandkids now. I got nine grandkids.”

Beyond family life, Snoop continues to grow his Doggyland franchise. The 3D animated series, created with producer Claude Brooks and R&B singer October London, just released its sixth album, Be Kind, Be You.

The project features seven fresh tracks, including a collaboration with child rap star VanVan, a new “Affirmations” anthem, and an Indian-inspired remix of the classic “ABC Song” in partnership with ChuChu TV.

“Doggyland’ is dropping another special album with all the ‘Doggyland’ goodness you’ve come to expect”, Snoop said in a statement. “This time we’re all about staying true to yourself and being kind, because being kind to others is being the truest version of yourself. And that’s the ‘Doggyland’ way!”
