Snoop Dogg feels ‘very surprised’ by Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ trial. Here’s what he said about wanting to be good to others in the industry in light of recent events.

Snoop Dogg and Sean “Diddy” Combs, two of hip-hop’s most influential figures, cultivated a friendship that spans decades. Their bond traces back to the early ’90s, a time when both artists were rising stars in the music industry. Despite their different coasts — Snoop representing the West, and Combs the East — their paths crossed through shared experiences. Recently, Snoop commented on Combs’ federal trial. Here’s what he said about feeling surprised by the evidence mounting against Combs.

Snoop Dogg says he feels ‘very surprised’ by Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ federal trial

As Sean “Diddy” Combs’ federal trial continues, more celebrities appear to be chiming in with their thoughts. In an interview with The Shade Room, Snoop Dogg noted he felt “very surprised” by Combs’ trial.

“I don’t expect none of this type of thing to be happening,” Snoop shared. “Like I say, when I was given my position of power, and given my position of leadership, I like to take advantage of it and treat people good and make sure that people that work with me don’t feel like they work for me. And when they’re ready to leave, and if we have a misunderstanding, and if there is a separation, it’s ended on love. It’s never bad vibes or anything of that nature.”

“I try to be a better boss based off of the bosses that I was around when I was just an employee, just an artist,” Snoop noted. “So, I try to take the good things that they did and subtract the bad things that they did.”

Snoop added that he didn’t know everything about everyone around him. He was only entitled to certain information “as an artist or as a friend.”

“So, as a businessman, I’ve learned to just be good to people. Because I know what it feels like to have bad business done on you, and have bad contracts,” he continued.

In the past, Snoop talked highly of Combs. “I really had love for Puffy, and he had love for me,” Snoop said while on Steve on Watch in 2020. The hip-hop artist discussed how the public pushed him and Combs to have beef due to their different coasts. ” … We actually love each other. We love the music that we made. It was just some differences between a few people. And this was an opportunity for us to come on your show and to show the whole world that we actually love each other.”
