Taylor Swift allegedly isn’t happy about Blake Lively dragging her into the It Ends With Us drama and lawsuits. Lively and Justin Baldoni are facing off in a legal battle following the release of the film based on Colleen Hoover’s book. Lively’s texts mentioned Swift, which might bring Swift into the case. Here’s what a source said about Swift not being “relevant” to the legal battle and wanting nothing to do with it.

Taylor Swift is officially more involved than she likely wants to be in Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni’s It Ends With Us legal battle. Lively initially accused Baldoni of sexual harassment and also claimed he and the studio behind the film attempted to damage her reputation. Baldoni then sued Lively and Ryan Reynolds for civil extortion, defamation, and invasion of privacy.

Baldoni also noted that Lively’s “megacelebrity friend,” thought to be Swift, pressured him into giving Lively more creative freedom with the film. Texts between Lively and Baldoni also showed Lively calling Swift one of her “dragons” whom she’ll use to protect herself.

Baldoni’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman said on TMZ’s Two Angry Men podcast that he might depose Swift.

“I don’t know that we’re going to depose Taylor Swift or not,” Freedman said. “I think that that’s gonna be probably a game-time decision. … Anyone that reasonably has information that can provide evidence in this case is going to be deposed. I mean, for sure.”

An insider told Us Weekly that Swift “doesn’t have any involvement in the case” and wants to remain out of it.

“Taylor has always been Blake’s friend, but Taylor doesn’t have any involvement in the case,” the source explained. “She wasn’t part of the movie. Taylor was not a producer on the film and had no creative involvement.”

“While she and Blake are friends, this case is now a legal matter for the courts to resolve,” the insider continued. “Dragging Taylor into it is unnecessary and misrepresents what really happened.”

Another source echoed the sentiment. “Taylor never even saw the film or a single scene from it until the movie was in theaters,” they said. “She is not relevant to the case.”

Taylor Swift allegedly ‘feels used’ by Blake Lively

It’s unclear how heavily the It Ends With Us lawsuits are weighing on Taylor Swift and Blake Lively’s friendship. While some sources claim they remain good friends with no strain, other insiders say Swift “feels used” by Lively.

A source told Page Six that Swift “doesn’t appreciate being referred to as one of Blake’s dragons.”

“Taylor really wishes Blake hadn’t dragged her into this whole situation,” the insider alleged. The pop star and the actor “have been friends for years, and Taylor cherishes genuine friendships, but she can’t help but feel used at this point.” The source noted that Swift “wants to keep out of this drama as much as possible.”

The pop sensation likely isn’t inviting her friend to Super Bowl LIX

Initial reports suggested Taylor Swift invited Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds to watch Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans. However, Swift might’ve changed her tune due to the It Ends With Us drama. A source told DailyMail.com that Lively is not planning on attending the Super Bowl and also hasn’t “left the house.”

“Blake is not attending the Super Bowl with her,” the insider alleged. “Blake has not left the house since this started practically. Taylor wants nothing to do with this trial and court case.”

The source added that Swift isn’t happy about Lively calling her a “dragon,” as she never intended to get so involved. “It’s weird to say that about a friend,” they explained.
