Southern Charm Drama Escalates: Salley Accuses Co-Stars of Psychological Manipulation Amid Ongoing Feuds

On Southern Charm, Austen Kroll previously dubbed his costar Salley Carson the “MVP” of season 11, telling Us Weekly that “she came to play.” With the season now underway, viewers are beginning to understand his high praise.

Salley, who first appeared on Bravo’s cast in season 10, has quickly emerged as a central figure in the current season, which kicked off in November 2025. Yet, her story arcs haven’t been without controversy.

This season, Salley’s romantic involvement with Craig Conover has caught attention, particularly due to her confrontations with newcomer Charley Manley over their mutual interest in Craig.

But Charley isn’t the only castmate Salley has clashed with; she’s also had notable disagreements with Craig, Molly O’Connell, and Venita Aspen, making for a dramatic season.

Salley raised eyebrows after admitting her attraction to Austen Kroll—despite his ongoing relationship with Audrey Pratt. “I’m a girls’ girl, I love Audrey, but my personality meshes well with Austen,” Salley, 30, revealed to friends Rodrigo Reyes and Molly O’Connell during a recent episode.

Ahead of the November 2025 premiere, the cast teased that Charley Manley and Salley Carson will find themselves in a love triangle with Craig Conover, which expands into a love trapezoid of sorts. “I don’t even know what the shape is called,” Craig exclusively told Us in November, teasing that Austen Kroll and newbie Whitner Slagsvol will get involved. “Because there’s no equal sides … and multiple corners.”

During season 11, episode 2, that budding love entanglement becomes the source of Charley and Salley’s first real fight as friends.

“What the f***?” Salley said during a confessional in the November episode after seeing Craig and Charley swimming together at her “Salley Sells Singles at the Seashore” beach party.

Salley later confronted Charley about her actions, but Charley denied she was trying to get Craig’s attention. “It was not like that at all,” Charley claimed.

Southern Charm Season 11 Cast Promise the Trailer in the Love Triangle Is Just the Beginning

In its 11th season, Southern Charm is back to its roots: Charleston’s Peter Pans are single, sparring and somehow still impossible not to root for. At the center of it all remain OGs Craig Conover and Shep Rose and season 4 addition Austen Kroll — three men Us have watched nearly find The One in […]

Salley, however, didn’t like what she saw. “You’re full of s***. I’m not a f***ing idiot, I can see when someone is flirting and they were right in front of my face,” Salley told the cameras.

During season 11, episode 5, which aired in December 2025, Charley’s feelings for Craig were getting stronger, which she said made her friendship with Salley hard to navigate.

“I do feel like I’m walking on eggshells a little bit with Salley just because of Craig. It’s the only thing that Salley and I have ever fought about,” Charley said in a confessional. “But I can tell there’s something between Craig and I.”

During episode 7, Salley discovered that Craig asked Charley out on a date shortly after he friend-zoned her. Salley was blindsided by the revelation, telling Charley, “Have fun on your date but if he’s going to write me off like that, f*** him.” Salley then claimed, “Craig is manipulating the both of us.”

Salley once again stirred the pot with Charley during episode 10 in February 2026 by claiming that Craig was telling the boys she was “going to fall in love with him.” Charley brushed it off, not believing the gossip.

Molly O’Connell

Molly O’Connell and Salley Carson were close friends during season 10, but they began butting heads almost instantly to start the current season. Molly took issue with how Salley tried to stir the pot at Madison LeCroy’s baby shower, telling Madison how drunk Molly was.

During the group’s literary costume party, Molly confronted Salley about her intentions and they got into a small fight. During season 11, episode 4, Molly pointed out that Salley was calling “dibs” on all the single guys in the group, which Salley denied.

Despite briefly squashing their beef, their fight came to a head during season 11, episode 5, after Molly heard that Salley was telling people about her vaginal rejuvenation surgery. (Venita Aspen actually told Salley, but Molly forgave her instantly.)

“Me and Molly were both bitches to each other,” Salley claimed during the December episode, after Venita told her to be “nice” to Molly.

Southern Charm s Salley Carson Reacts to Venita Aspen Hanging Out With Carl Radke

Southern Charm’s Salley Carson has her eyes on costar Venita Aspen and Carl Radke. “She has been out with Carl. He is super sweet,” Salley shared on the Monday, December 29, episode of iHeartRadio’s “Two T’s in a Pod” podcast. “I actually think that they would be a good fit for each other. I’ve met […]

Molly alleged that Salley “kept talking s***” about her vagina. “You’ve been fucking s***y,” Salley fired back.

“You are s***y, always, you f***ing a**hole,” Molly yelled in response, causing the whole kitchen to go silent. “You’re malicious. You need therapy. Cause you f***ing suck,” she added.

Salley was completely taken aback, claiming, “I did not talk s*** about your vagina, I’m sure it’s great.”

She ended the conversation by telling Molly, “Obviously, we’ve both done things behind each other’s back and I do genuinely apologize for that.”

Molly replied, “I thought we hashed it out. I felt good about stuff. I want to be cool.”

After weeks of being somewhat icy toward each other, Molly and Salley made amends while going to the spa together during episode 10. Salley confessed in the February 2026 episode that Venita wanted to “pin” them against each other, which “worked for a second.”

“Let’s not let that happen again,” Molly told Salley before they both apologized and said they loved one another.

Venita Aspen

In between filming season 10 and 11, Venita Aspen and Salley Carson became close friends. However, their dynamic was tested at the start of the new season when Salley began trying to hookup with Craig Conover amid Venita’s feud with the Sewing Down South founder. (Craig revealed on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen that he was no longer friends with Venita after she reached out to his ex-girlfriend Paige DeSorbo following their 2024 split.)

During the season 11 premiere, which aired in November 2025, Venita and Craig avoided each other while attending Madison LeCroy’s baby shower. Salley, however, tried to get Venita to talk to Craig so they could all go to an afterparty and hang out, which didn’t sit well with Venita.

“I guess Salley is a girls’ girl until a man is involved,” Venita quipped to the cameras.

Summer House s Ciara Miller Defends Southern Charm s Venita Aspen After Craig Drama Season 11 Backlash 2215591037 2204148614 2204148491

Ciara Miller is proving that Bravo girls have to stick together while defending Venita Aspen amid a rocky start to season 11 of Southern Charm — and her feud with Craig Conover. “Imagine being the only Black girl on a predominantly white cast in the SOUTH,” Ciara, 29, wrote in the comments section on a […]

Salley, meanwhile, insisted that she wasn’t doing anything wrong. “I don’t personally think it’s breaking girl code to be chatting with the enemy,” she said. “If they start getting in a fight and Craig starts screaming at Venita, I’m coming in to save my girl. But if I’m just talking to Craig and having a good conversation with him, I think that that’s OK.”

During episode 5, Molly claimed that Venita was “more wary” of Salley after she continued to seemingly pick Craig’s side every week — which sent Salley over the edge.

“Molly told me you’re wary of me, what the f*** is up with that? I feel like I’ve been a damn good friend to you,” Salley told Venita.

Venita remained calm, explaining, “You make it very hard being on your side when you’re on a side of someone I don’t like.”

Cast Southern Charms Biggest Scandals

The cast of Southern Charm has been entertaining Bravo fans since 2014, but sometimes, their offscreen scandals and controversies overshadow their onscreen antics. When Southern Charm premiered, it starred Thomas Ravenel, Shep Rose, Cameran Eubanks, Craig Conover, Whitney Sudler-Smith and Jenna King. During season 1, Thomas met Kathryn Dennis, who is nearly 30 years his […]

While Salley said she heard Venita and “I love you,” she confessed, “I don’t want to stop hanging out with Craig.”

Venita’s request for Salley to side with her became an even bigger issue after Venita gave Craig a kiss on the cheek before leaving his Memorial Day pool party — which she did because he was the host.

“You can kiss him on the cheek, but you cannot let me hang out with him?” Salley quipped. Venita replied, “You are doing a lot right now,” before leaving the house.

“I think it’s f***ing weird that she kisses him goodbye and then she has a problem with me being friends with him,” Salley said in a confessional. “Talk about twofaced. What the f***? That’s fake, I’m sorry.”

Salley and Venita’s drama continued after Venita asked Salley during episode 7 why she didn’t confide in her that Craig had squashed her dreams of dating him. “I’m not mad at you,” Venita said. Salley replied, “You have no reason to,” and then Venita stormed off.

The women once again tried to hash out their issues during episode 11 in February 2026, but it quickly turned into Salley claiming that Venita was trying to pin her against Molly.

“Anything I’ve ever brought you in, you’ve said [to others]. You tell me information and then I’m your scapegoat,” Salley alleged during a sit-down at Whitner Slagsvol’s family farm.

Venita confessed to the cameras, “I feel attacked. I feel betrayed” after Salley tried to talk with her when others were present.

“I just feel like a lot of s*** has been tangled and repeated. It really felt like you were trying to pin us against each other,” Salley said referring to her and Molly. While Salley told Venita she cared about her, Venita walked off.

Salley confessed, “I just feel so mindf***d by everyone in this group.”

Craig Conover

After hitting on Craig Conover during the first half of the season, Salley Carson’s relationship with Craig turned sour during episode 7. At the time, Salley expressed to Craig that she was catching “feelings” for him while they shopped for chickens. He told her he just wanted to be friends.

Later in the January 2026 episode, Austen Kroll revealed that Craig called Salley a “tornado” who brings “chaos” behind her back. Salley went off on Craig, calling him an “a**hole” for sending mixed signals. “I’ll show him a f***ing tornado,” she told the group after getting heated about the topic.

During episode 8, Salley confronted Craig about why he “wrote me off so quickly,” which Craig completely denied doing.

Craig claimed “that’s insane,” arguing that his “enemy” Austen was just stirring the pot. “You believed a guy whose main goal in life is to tear me down,” Craig alleged, before calling a truce with Salley.

Southern Charm Star Salley Carson Calls Craig Conover Hot But Would They Ever Date

Salley Carson spilled the tea to Us about her night in New York City with Craig Conover — but are they more than friends? “We went to dinner. But there [were] also his two friends there, so it wasn’t just the two of us,” Salley, 30, exclusively told Us Weekly on Monday, February 24, confirming […]

Two episodes later, Craig turned the tables on Salley after she claimed he’d been telling everyone that Charley Manley was “going to fall in love” with him following their first date. “I haven’t said anything about Charley to anyone,” Craig claimed.

He then told Salley, “We aren’t going to be as close anymore because I can’t trust you.” Craig later told the cameras her actions made him feel like she’s “not a true friend.”

Craig confronted Salley again during episode 11, telling her, “You seem to keep causing drama in my life. You keep spreading stories about me that aren’t true.”

Salley later alleged during a confessional, “Craig is the ultimate gaslighter. He gaslights everyone,” adding that he’s “very manipulative.”

Southern Charm airs on Bravo Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET.
