- Omoyele Sowore has spoken after visiting BLord, stating that his concern is about alleged oppression and lack of due process, while affirming that BLord is ready to face his case.
Human rights advocate Omoyele Sowore has spoken out following his visit to the detained entrepreneur known as BLord. Sowore clarified that his involvement is driven not by the arrest itself but by concerns over alleged mistreatment and lapses in legal procedures.
After meeting with BLord, Sowore underscored his commitment to ensuring that legal rights are upheld, stressing that no one should suffer from injustice, regardless of the accusations they face.
He stated, “My presence here isn’t because of BLord’s arrest; it’s because he’s experiencing oppression and a lack of due process. There are numerous individuals I’ve assisted in the past who now oppose me. BLord wants the public to know he isn’t seeking anyone’s sympathy; he’s prepared to address the case and is using this time to rest.”
“I’m not here because BLord was arrested, I’m here because he is being oppressed and due process was not followed. There are many people I’ve helped in the past who are now speaking against me. BLord told me to let the public know he is not begging anyone, he is ready to face the case, however, he’s using this opportunity to rest as well.”
Sowore also noted that despite criticism from some individuals he claimed to have previously supported, he remains committed to speaking out on issues of justice and accountability.
