Cardi B is gearing up for motherhood once again, as the 33-year-old rapper recently revealed she’s expecting her first child with boyfriend Stefon Diggs. This will be her fourth child, as she already shares three children with her estranged husband, Offset.
“I’m having a baby… and I’m thrilled,” Cardi shared during a conversation with CBS Mornings. “I feel like I’m in a great space. It’s empowering to be doing all this work while also creating a new life.”
While Cardi hasn’t disclosed her due date, it’s anticipated the baby will arrive before she embarks on her next tour in February 2026. During her chat with CBS Mornings, she humorously suggested that fans should support her latest album, Am I The Drama?, to help her with the upcoming expenses of a new baby.
“Now y’all need to buy my album so I can get Pampers and all that,” she quipped. “I told you. Go support my album, because now I’m a mother of four.”
What will Cardi B name her baby?

The new addition will join Cardi’s three children: Kulture Kiari, 7; Wave, 4; and Blossom Belle, 1. As for what the new baby might be named, VegasInsider delved into her discography, analyzing 84 tracks to predict possible names based on her lyrical themes and frequently used words.
That analysis produced five likely names. The top contender is Rhythm. The name “reflects the musical and rhythmic elements in Cardi B’s lyrics,” noted VegasInsider.
The second-most-likely pick? Dreama. She could choose this name because of her emphasis on following and investing in one’s dreams despite hardships.
Like Rhythm, two other possible names — Harmony and Melody — reflect Cardi’s musical inclinations. Meanwhile, Truston “was inspired by Cardi B’s strength and the fiery spirit to move beyond challenges.”
What the ‘Bodak Yellow’ rapper has said about naming her kids
Whatever name Cardi chooses for the new addition to her family, it might be some time before we learn of it. She did not reveal Blossom’s name until more than six months after her birth. She dropped the info in a post on X where she accused Offset of being an absent father who had only seen his new baby “like five times” (via E! News).
In 2018, she also shed some light on why she named her first child Kulture.
“My dude named the baby,” she said (via Billboard). “I really like the name. It’s like almost tricky, but when it comes out, it’s like ‘Ah!’”
