Over the weekend, speculation erupted that Jessica Alba and Joe Burrow might be secretly seeing each other. The rumors spread like wildfire on social media, prompting fans to discuss the unlikely match. Critics even noted the notable 15-year age difference between the actress and the football player. However, such discussions were in vain; the two are not in a relationship. So, what sparked the rapid assumption of their involvement?
Well, a social media rumor coincided perfectly with a single snapshot of the two celebrities together. A picture of Alba and Burrow hanging out in a casino in the early morning hours seemed to give legs to the rumor. As it turned out, Alba and Burrow were both in Las Vegas as part of a larger group, all drawn to the city for industry events. The photo of the non-romantic pair reportedly left out other people who were spotted with Burrow and Alba that evening. Along with Burrow and Alba, Alix Earle, Tom Brady and many other celebrities flocked to Sin City for the opening of Zero Bond.

While the rumor died pretty quickly, Danny Rmirez wanted to ensure that no one thought his partner was with Joe Burrow. Shortly after the rumors began swirling, Ramirez took to social media to share a photo of himself loved up with Alba. While Ramirez didn’t directly address the rumors, the pictures certainly seem to be his way of staking his claim.
The Captain America: Brave New World actor and Alba have been seeing each other since at least July 2025. They made things Instagram official in November, less than a year after Alba announced her split from Cash Warren. Alba finalized her divorce from Warren in February.
Joe Burrow is much more secretive about his love life, but he has been quietly linked to model Olivia Ponton for years. According to Edible Brooklyn, Ponton made a 911 call from Burrow’s house after the Ohio estate was burglarized in 2024. The call seemed to confirm the relationship, though neither opted to publicly acknowledge a romance.
