The anticipation for the 2026 Oscars is officially underway.
In the days leading up to the March 15 ceremony, celebrities have been attending a variety of pre-award show events. These gatherings have provided them ample opportunity to showcase some of their most striking fashion choices, setting the stage for the grand event.
A perfect example of this pre-Oscar fashion flair was seen with Teyana Taylor. She made a memorable appearance at the TIME Women of the Year Gala in Los Angeles on March 10, donning a stunning Schiaparelli creation. The dress was a masterpiece of design, with a chocolate brown bustier hugging the upper body and a black fit-and-flare skirt that dazzled with intricate embellishments.
Teyana, who is in the running for Best Supporting Actress at the upcoming Oscars, has previously shared insights into how she gauges her fashion success. In a 2023 TikTok video during Paris Fashion Week, she expressed her love for fashion, saying, “I mean, Harlem is a whole runway now, you know what I’m saying, especially in my era coming up. Harlem has always been a runway for me.”
