Stephen Colletti, known for his role in the iconic reality series “Laguna Beach,” is stepping into a new chapter as he and his wife, Alex Weaver, anticipate the arrival of their first child.

Colletti, now 39, shared the joyful news on Tuesday, revealing that Weaver, 32, is expecting. This exciting announcement marks a significant milestone for the couple.

Fans of “Laguna Beach” may remember Colletti’s past, particularly his teenage romance with Kristin Cavallari. Their relationship was a central focus on the reality show, which captured the drama and dynamics of their on-and-off relationship among high school peers.

Their youthful romance, along with a love triangle involving Lauren Conrad, provided much of the drama that captivated viewers during the first two seasons of the MTV series. Although Colletti and Cavallari’s relationship officially ended in 2005, the pair briefly reconnected in 2020.

As Colletti and Weaver prepare for parenthood, memories of his earlier reality TV days linger, but the couple is undoubtedly focused on the future and the new addition to their family.

Colletti and the glamorous NASCAR reporter, who bares a striking resemblance to Cavallari, tied the knot last October.

The expecting parents posted a set of black-and-white portraits from their pregnancy announcement photoshoot on the beach, posing with their bare feet in the sand. 

The couple wore matching white sweaters and jeans, but Weaver’s pants were unbuttoned and her sweater was pulled up to show off her baby bump. 

‘Mom & Dad,’ the pair captioned their joint Instagram post. 

Colletti, who also starred in the CW drama series One Tree Hill, also left a comment underneath the post with two emojis: one of a chick hatching out of an egg and a smiley face with hands raised in excitement.

A slew of the expecting couple’s celebrity pals, including their former Laguna Beach costars, congratulated the soon-to-be mom and dad in the comments section. 

Lauren ‘Lo’ Bosworth commented, ‘Omg!!!! Congrats,’ alongside three red heart emojis to the happy couple.

Jason Wahler, who starred in Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County and The Hills,  left a sweet comment, and Colletti’s ex and former Laguna Beach costar, Conrad, also chimed in. 

Wahler commented: ‘Wait, what!!!?? Congrats man!!!!’

Their fellow Laguna Beach: The Real OC castmate Alex Murrel penned ‘congrats!!! alongside three red heart emojis. 

Colletti’s One Tree Hill costars Barbara Alyn Woods and Allison Munn also joined in as many flooded the comments section with happy words for the joyous couple.

Woods wrote, ‘SO EXCITING!!!!’ with red heart emojis, and Munn commented, ‘Ah!!! So happy for you guys!! Huge congrats!’ 

Southern Charm reality star Madison LeCroy and figure skater Johnny Weir also left comments with LeCroy sharing three red heart emojis and Weir adding: ‘Congratulations bubbechki!’
