General Hospital star Steve Burton and his girlfriend Michelle Lundstrom will soon be husband and wife.

The 54-year-old actor and the 43-year-old beauty took to Instagram to announce that they had gotten engaged on Friday in an intimate proposal.

In the post shared on Saturday, Burton included a carousel of snaps showing off the heartwarming moment he dropped to one knee and popped the question.

‘Engaged 1/3/25,’ the actor penned in the caption, with Peter Cetera’s Glory of Love playing in the background.

He added the Bible verse Jeremiah 29:11: ”For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Burton looked dapper in a bicep-teasing black long sleeve top and dark jeans for the special moment.

Lundstrom modeled a black leather jacket and distressed, dark jeans as she showed off her diamond engagement ring in one photo.

Their post was a hit with their over 500k collective followers, racking up hundreds of comments from supportive fans congratulating the groom and bride-to-be.

‘Beautiful congratulations much love, happiness, joy, and blessings to you both. You’re a great man… well deserved,’ one wrote.

Another fan chimed in, ‘Oh my gosh what wonderful news! …So much love and joy! Steve and Michelle you are so deserving of each other. I am so happy for Steve after all he has been thru. Yay!’

Although their exact dating timeline is unknown, the private pair revealed their relationship to Daily Drama back in May 2024. 

They went red carpet official just weeks later at the Daytime Emmy Awards.

Back in 2022, the Days of Our Lives star announced via Instagram that he had separated from the 48-year-old Fit Club founder. 

According to legal documents filed with the Orange County Superior Court, their date of separation is listed as March 1, 2022, citing ‘irreconcilable differences.’

A judge ordered Steve to pay his ex-wife $10K/month in child support for co-parenting their three children — daughter Makena, 21; son Jack, 19 and daughter Brooklyn, 11 — according to People. 

Because no prenuptial agreements were made, the couple agreed to split their personal belongings, but Burton kept their three properties in Tennessee.
