Fans of the Dallas Cowboys and Arizona Cardinals looking to catch tonight’s Monday Night Football action on YouTube TV will need to explore alternative streaming options due to a recent disruption in service.
As of October 30, YouTube TV subscribers are without several Disney-owned networks, including ABC, ESPN, FX, Freeform, and National Geographic. This blackout stems from a breakdown in contract negotiations. In a statement shared on X, YouTube TV expressed their commitment to fair pricing in their network agreements, emphasizing their goal to provide the best viewing experience for their subscribers.
“Our contract with Disney has reached its renewal date, and we will not agree to terms that disadvantage our members while benefiting Disney’s TV products,” the statement read. “Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, we have not been able to reach a fair deal, and starting today, Disney programming will not be available on YouTube TV.”
The impasse means that subscribers will temporarily miss out on popular sports programming, including the NBA on ESPN, college football games on ABC and ESPN, and the much-anticipated Monday Night Football.
If you’re wondering how to catch Monday Night Football without relying on YouTube TV, here’s everything you need to know to ensure you don’t miss the game.
