Streamer Kaitlyn Siragusa, better known as Amouranth, revealed in a shocking live stream on Oct. 15 that she’s married and her husband is allegedly abusing her.
Siragusa has been a huge public figure since she started on the platform in 2017 and is now one of Twitch’s 50 most-subscribed streamers and the most-watched woman streamer. She has almost
6 million followers and mainly streams in a bikini, and, despite her self-described “smutty” content, she has somehow avoided being banned since 2021.
But despite having an avid and dedicated following, Siragusa has never discussed her marriage. She even denied rumors about the subject in 2021 and in 2018.
In this recent stream, however, Siragusa claimed that her husband told her to hide their marriage for “commercial reasons” and allegedly told her that it would “ruin the business model” if her fans knew she was taken.
One of Siragusa’s accusations against her husband is that he repeatedly threatens to take away her money if she doesn’t do what he wants. According to an interview Siragusa gave in September, she averages a monthly income of $1.5 million from OnlyFans, $100,000 from Patreon and more than $100,000 from Fansly — a relatively new subscription-based social media platform, similar to OnlyFans.
In that same interview, Siragusa discussed her crazy, sometimes 20-hour workdays in which she livestreams for 12 hours straight and then films YouTube videos. In the recent stream, Siragusa also accused her husband of allegedly enforcing the work schedule.
The footage is no longer available on Siragusa’s Twitch page, but streamer and esports producer @HUN2R uploaded four clips from the stream to Twitter.
The husband’s identity is never disclosed throughout the video, and Siragusa has not made any updates to her social media since the stream.
Natalia Mogollon, a fellow streamer better known as Alinity, went live on Oct. 16 and claimed she had tried to contact Siragusa after seeing her video, and then when she didn’t get an answer, she called the police to do a welfare check.
“I did a welfare check on her, and the police can’t tell me anything about whether or not she’s OK,” Mogollon said. “And that’s literally all I know.”
As of reporting, Siragusa has still not made any comments on the situation.
