In response to those who felt that The View went too soft on Marjorie Taylor Greene during her initial appearance in November 2025, Sunny Hostin took a decidedly firmer stance during Greene’s latest visit to the show. This time, Hostin ensured that the former congresswoman was thoroughly scrutinized.

On today’s episode of the popular daytime program, Greene addressed the issue of President Donald Trump’s inflammatory rhetoric aimed at his opponents, herself included.

“The increasingly toxic atmosphere in politics has become a significant concern for me,” she remarked. “However, this kind of language isn’t exclusive to one side. I’ve been on the receiving end of harsh words from Democrats as well.”

Greene acknowledged her own role in the divisive discourse, stating, “I accept my share of the blame. I’m responsible for my actions and have decided to step away from that behavior. My focus now is on addressing political issues and actions, rather than targeting individuals, because our nation is extremely polarized. I sincerely reject such conduct and have issued apologies for my past behavior.”

Hostin pressed further, questioning whether Greene had extended personal apologies to Democratic colleagues like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Rep. Jasmine Crockett, both of whom have been subjects of Greene’s past verbal assaults.

“Do you apologize to people like AOC and Jasmine Crockett and your colleague, who you made fun of her transgender child? Have you made apologies to those people, especially your colleague who had a transgender child — because you have a child as well — and who you taunted?” Hostin pressed, referring to a sign Greene hung outside of Rep. Marie Newman’s office that read, “There are TWO genders: Male and Female. Trust the science.”

While Greene confirmed that she released a “blanket apology” to those she has offended, she told the co-host that she still has yet to receive any apologies from her constituents who have gone after her.

“Sunny, just to be clear, I made a blanket apology on my part, but I haven’t received apologies back from so many people who attacked me,” Greene said. “Again, I’m the only one taking accountability and taking a big step in that direction. Really, the responsibility belongs on everyone to do that.”

The View airs on weekdays at 11/10c on ABC.
