On Monday, Swizz Beatz and his former wife Mashonda celebrated a significant family event, taking to Instagram to honor their son, Kasseem Dean Jr., on his 19th birthday.

Swizz Beatz began the festivities with a heartfelt message dedicated to his son. “It’s a real one Birthday. Happy Birthday Kasseem Dean JR. Keep going King we love you beyond the MAX!! It’s a true honor to have a son like you. Thank you for choosing me to be your dad. @yayachron BIG 19. Let’s gooooooooooooooooooooooo………..” he shared.

Mashonda also joined in the celebration with a touching tribute that reflected on her journey as a mother. “Whenever I hear this song, particularly the first verse, I think of you. @yayachron. Happy Birthday my beautiful Violet in the Sun. It has been a true privilege to be your mother, to observe your growth and to see you navigate the world with such grace and insight. I express my gratitude to God for you countless times each day. Always by your side, I’ll be here for you through it all.”

Mashonda also marked the occasion with her own post and reflected on her experience watching her son grow.

The tributes didn’t stop there. Alicia Keys, who is married to Swizz Beatz, also shared a message for Kasseem Jr. In her post, she expressed how grateful she is to be his “Umi” or bonus mom.

Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys married in 2010 and share two children, Egypt Daoud and Genesis Ali. Swizz is also father to Prince Nasir, Kasseem Dean Jr., and Nicole.
