Last month, Paramount+ renewed ‘Tulsa King’ for a third season.

Sylvester Stallone was looking dapper as he relaxed on the set of the upcoming season of Tulsa King in New York City.

The Rocky star was spotted on April 16 filming for the third season of the Paramount+ crime drama. The acclaimed actor wore a gray double-breasted suit and accessorized with a red tie and sunglasses as he puffed on a cigar outside the Mulberry Street Bar and Restaurant in Little Italy. The more than century-old establishment is a popular filming location, with scenes from The Sopranos, Donnie Brasco, The Pope of Greenwich Village, and Contract on Cherry Street having been filmed there.

Paramount+ renewed Tulsa King for season 3 in March 2025. Season 2 premiered last September and was one of the top 10 most-watched streaming originals in the fourth quarter of 2024. The series focuses on Stallone’s character, Dwight “The General” Manfredi, a former New York mafia capo who has been exiled to Tulsa following his release from prison. Once in Oklahoma, he assembles a new crew and establishes himself as a powerful player in the city.

Season 2 followed Manfredi and his crew as they encountered new enemies when they encroached on nemesis territory in Tulsa. It’s not yet clear what brings Manfredi back to the Big Apple in season 3. But Stallone was thrilled to be back at work in his hometown. (The actor was born in Hell’s Kitchen and grew up in Maryland and Philadelphia before returning to the city to launch his acting career.)

“Thankful to be shooting a scene of TULSA KING in NYC today…” Stallone wrote on his Instagram.

Tulsa King Seasons 1 and 2 are now streaming on Paramount+.
