Actress Teri Hatcher, known for her role on Desperate Housewives, has made it clear that she has no desire to become the poster child for cosmetic surgery in her famous fictional neighborhood, Wisteria Lane.

Hatcher recently opened up about her views on cosmetic enhancements, acknowledging that while such procedures can boost self-esteem, she believes in transparency about what has been altered.

During the October 27 episode of the Skinny Confidential Him & Her podcast, Teri expressed, “I have no judgment about how anyone chooses to feel good about themselves. However, I am not fond of dishonesty regarding it.”

The 60-year-old actress elaborated, explaining that although she respects privacy concerning personal choices, she feels that when celebrities lie about their enhancements, it can negatively impact others. “When you’re famous and you lie, you’re basically making the rest of us feel inadequate. We look at you and think, ‘Maybe I’m not drinking enough water,’ and that’s just not fair,” she stated.

As for Teri, she has no desire to get nipped and tucked, adding that when people see her on screen, she wants them to see “a real 60-year-old woman.”
