Teyana Taylor is earning praise from her daughter by introducing her All’s Fair co-stars to some of today’s trending slang.

The actress, who is featured in the Hulu series All’s Fair with stars like Kim Kardashian, Glenn Close, Naomi Watts, Sarah Paulson, and Niecy Nash-Betts, shared her experience of teaching her fellow cast members some popular slang during an exclusive interview with People Magazine at the 2025 CFDA Fashion Awards on November 3.

The 34-year-old actress expressed confidence that her daughter would be impressed with her efforts. “Even though I have an old soul, I taught them the gestures for ‘clock it’ and ‘ate it,’” she explained, describing the actions of touching the pointer finger to the thumb and the middle finger to the thumb, respectively.

“I’m proud of myself,” she continued. “I feel like my daughter would be proud too because she taught me those gestures, and I passed them on.”

Teyana Taylor is the proud mother of two daughters, Rue Rose, 5, and Iman “Junie” Tayla, 9, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Iman Shumpert.

Teyana is the youngest castmate on the star-studded legal drama, which follows a team of high-powered female divorce attorneys who leave a male-dominated firm to open their own practice. The musician-turned-actress portrays Milan, an aspiring lawyer and mentee to Kim Kardashian’s character, Allura.

In the trailer, it’s revealed that Milan is keeping a secret, she’s having an affair with Allura’s ex.

“Milan is the baby of the group and has stripes to earn and is figuring out how to navigate it,” Teyana previously told People Magazine during an exclusive cast interview. “Allura is gracious enough to help her navigate, even though Milan has made mistakes. I think it’s important because it shows community and shows we won’t let men come between that community.”

During the cast interview, the 45-year-old SKIMS founder revealed that the women forged a close bond behind the cameras during a group dinner before filming began.

“I think that really helped set the tone for what our relationship would be,” The Kardashians reality star said. “We all had dinner, talked s—, had some drinks and really just got to know each other on a personal level.”

All’s Fair is streaming now on Hulu.
