Sharon Johal and Ankur Dogra have proven to be 2022’s most controversial contestants on The Block.
And ahead of the finale, the married couple revealed they have fears about how the sale of their home will go when it comes to auction time.
‘It’s really scary because we don’t know what’s going to happen and it’s taken a while to actually finish’ former Neighbours star Sharon told Yahoo.

‘There was still stuff going on, so taking buyers through at different stages of completion has been really scary.’
However Ankur insisted the pair aren’t in the competition just for a big payday.
‘I think the winner was $4,000 profit or something. So I mean, yeah, in this market, like, who would know?’ he said.

‘This sounds stupid, but we didn’t do it for the money.’
He added that the pair would be upset if they didn’t turn a profit but it isn’t the be all and end all.
‘It’d be disappointing, but yeah, the expectation’s not there that everybody’s going to sell their house or anything like that,’ Ankur said.

‘I think I took a weekend off and went straight back to work, so going back into normality, I think I ripped the Band-Aid off pretty quickly and this sort of went to the back of my mind. So if we do [sell it], amazing, if we don’t, it’s completely fine. And we’ll still kick on.’
While speaking to Nine Now, Sharon worried that the reserve on the home could work against them.
‘I’m hoping that we aren’t stiffed with the reserve price aspect of it,’ the actress told the publication. ‘Just because it is the bigger house doesn’t mean it should have a bigger reserve.’
