TikTok is swooning over this husband’s home-cooking for his wife.
The page @cooking4wifey is all about self-described “girl dad” Addison Bounds cooking whatever his wife wants to eat. This includes making her meals the entirety of her pregnancy and, of course, right after. The couple went viral when Bounds prepared his wife’s first meal at home after she gave birth to their baby girl.
“Making my wife’s first homemade meal after delivery,” the video text read.
His wife was cuddled on the couch with their newborn and small dog when he asked her what she wanted her first meal to be. She requested chicken sandwiches.
The dad marinated chicken breast and batter-fried it before placing it on a bun with homemade coleslaw. He served it with smashed fried potatoes. When he handed the plate to his wife, she seemed so grateful for it.
The touching video received 17.2 million views and 2 million likes on TikTok.
“I hope the father of my child is as supportive and caring as you!” a user wrote.
“I dunno, it’s just the way she took the first bite and was so excited,” someone said.
“This gives me hope that there’s still good men out there,” a person commented.

“What’s her secret to deciding what she wants to eat so quickly? That would’ve taken me years to figure out,” another added.
“This is so sweet! She definitely enjoyed that! Do you have a single brother?” a TikToker joked.
