Travis Kelce’s brother, Jason, said he has noticed big changes in his brother. He shared what has changed since he met Taylor Swift.
Travis Kelce began dating Taylor Swift in 2023, and his brother has seen a major change in him in this time. According to Jason Kelce, his younger brother was like one of Peter Pan’s Lost Boys in past years. Jason said Travis has matured a great deal in recent years.
Jason Kelce said Travis Kelce has undergone major changes after meeting Taylor Swift
Jason recently appeared on the Fitz & Whit podcast and discussed his younger brother with host Ryan Fitzpatrick. They both agreed that Travis has grown a great deal in recent years.
“It’s been staggering, honestly,” Jason said, per Billboard. “He legitimately had a basketball hoop in his living room.”
“And a pool table, I don’t think he had any couches,” Fitzpatrick added.
Jason said that this was part of what he loved about his younger brother.
“One of the things I love so much about Travis is that he never grew up,” Jason said. “He was like Peter Pan [and] the Lost Boys.”
He believed Travis has matured in recent years, though, hinting that people like Swift have helped with that.
“For sure. It’s changing,” he said. “I think sometimes you get people in your life that maybe get that out of you and that’s a good thing.”
Jason Kelce still considers Travis Kelce a free spirit
Jason said that while he sees new maturity in his brother, Travis still has a youthful spirit. He believes this will always be a part of him.
“Trav, he is growing up,” Jason said. “He’s still got, though, that youthful enthusiasm. I think he’ll always have that. It’s just part of his personality … Anyone that’s ever met Trav, you can’t help but just love the guy. He’s a free spirit in the best possible way.”
Taylor Swift has reportedly changed for the better after meeting Travis Kelce
According to a source close to Swift, she has also gone through changes since she began dating Travis.
“Taylor has always been a strong woman but she’s also battled self-doubt and feared criticism like anyone else,” the source told Life & Style. “She says getting older and being in a healthy, loving relationship has allowed her to let go of a lot of that.”
They added that she has been less concerned about others’ opinions while dating Travis.
“With Travis, she doesn’t seem so concerned with what people are or aren’t seeing,” they said. “It’s refreshing for everyone to witness her being so much more relaxed and authentic.”
This is due in part to his unshakable support of her.
