Trecina “Tina” Campbell and Glendon “Teddy” Campbell have decided to part ways after more than a quarter-century together.
According to documents obtained by E! News, Teddy has officially filed for divorce from the Mary Mary vocalist on April 13. The couple, who have shared a long history, are now navigating the end of their marriage.
The 51-year-old musician has cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split, noting June 2024 as the date of their separation in papers submitted to the Los Angeles County Superior Court.
While Teddy hasn’t specified his preference for legal or physical custody of their two minor children—a 13-year-old daughter and a 16-year-old son—he has requested arrangements for child visitation. The pair also has three adult children together.
Teddy, known for his work as a drummer on The Tonight Show Starring Jay Leno, married Tina in August 2000. In the divorce filing, he expressed a desire to defer decisions regarding spousal support to a later date. Notably, the documents also indicate that the couple has no shared assets or debts requiring division.
