The third week of preseason delivered a slew of impressive performances. Quarterback Tommy DeVito might not be long for the Giants — they have Russell Wilson, Jaxson Dart, and Jameis Winston on the roster — but DeVito finished a strong preseason by going 17/20 and throwing three touchdowns in New York’s 42-10 win over the New England Patriots.
Are you looking for a standout performance by a wide receiver? Laquon Treadwell had six catches for 116 yards and a touchdown as the Indianapolis Colts demolished the Cincinnati Bengals 41-14. Running back Trey Sermon is making a case to stick with the Pittsburgh Steelers, rushing for 39 yards on only four carries (and adding three receptions) in Pittsburgh’s 19-10 win over the Carolina Panthers.
